Abstract
A graduate of the medical faculty of the University of Bishop`s College in 1890, Dr. Maude Abbott (1869-1940) acquired an international reputation for her work in the fields of pathology and cardiology. She also taught at McGill University and was curator of the fledgling McGill Medical Museum.
