Abstract
Daniel MacPherson (1753-1840) was a Loyalist soldier and later Seigneur of the L'Îsle-aux-Grues. He was the grandfather of Sir James MacPherson LeMoine (1825-1912), a noted Quebec lawyer, public servant and historian.
