'The New Town of Montreal': Creation of an Upper Middle Class Suburb on the Slope of Mount Royal in the Mid-Nineteenth Century
Abstract
An examination of the transformation of the southern slope of Montreal's Mount Royal in the mid-nineteenth century into a predominately upper class Anglophone enclave known as the Golden Square Mile.
