Using archival footage and interviews with people involved on both sides, the film reviews events at Montreal's Sir George Williams University (now part of Concordia University) that led to the February 1969 protest over accusations of racism against a biology professor by six Black Caribbean students and the occupation and destruction of the university's computer center.
