A case study of the political effectiveness of rival pressure groups in the St. Leonard school crisis of the late 1960s. The author examines the internal dynamics of the two principal opposing groups involved in this linguistic and educational dispute -- the Mouvement pour l'intégration scolaire and the Association of St. Leonard Parents.
