| Abstract |
The Irish-born Jocelyn Waller (c.1772-1828) was a Montreal newspaper editor and publisher (the Canadian Spectator) and political reformer. Waller was a supporter of Louis-Joseph Papineau and a leader in the opposition of the union of Lower and Upper Canada. The greater part of the article is a reprint of a rare handbill about Waller (probably written by A.N. Morin), circulated after Waller's death.
