Each style in Montreal architecture to 1925 is outlined: the style of the French Regime; the British eighteenth century Classical Tradition; and later styles which are grouped by the author in the following themes: the Classical and Classicizing styles; the Picturesque and Eclecticism; and Beaux Arts and Later Traditionalism.
