Abstract
The Ottawa-born Frederick Bourchier Taylor (1906-1987) graduated from McGill University's School of Architecture in 1930 but decided on a career in art, specializing in portrait painting, industrial scenes and etching. Taylor taught drawing and modeling at McGill's School of Architecture from 1940 to 1943, and after the war turned to sketching Montreal street scenes. He exhibited regularly at Montreal's Dominion Gallery.
