Clear Recollections: Memoirs of Percy Nobbs
|
Abstract |
Percy Nobbs (1875-1964) came to Canada from Scotland to be the second MacDonald Professor of Architecture and Director of the Department of Architecture at McGill University in 1903. He continued as Director until 1910, and as professor of Design until 1940. However, his memoirs are light on his career as an architect or his life at McGill, focussing instead on his "fascinating life of fishing, hunting, boating, and antagonistics."
