Abstract
The author analyzes the different characteristics of the Polish population of the city of Montreal: religion, official and mother tongue, Polish mother tongue, country of birth, marital status, age pyramid, work, residence, social life. Through all these criteria the author tries to measure the degree of integration of the Polish minority to the Quebec population; 85 percent of Poles in Quebec (circa 1972) are concentrated in Montreal.
