Title
Teaching History to Planners
Abstract
The author outlines the planning history course given in the master’s program at McGill University (circa 2006). The particularities of the course are that it brings together history and theory, is taught in parallel with a neighbourhood-planning studio, and relies on primary sources and on-site visits for the bulk of its information.
