Abstract
The internal debate over whether to allow female students into the architecture program at McGill University began in 1913, but the first woman to be allowed to enroll in the School of Architecture at the university was Catherine Mary Chard Wisnicki in 1939. Between 1943, the year Chad Wisnicki graduated, and 1970, 39 women graduated from the university's School of Architecture. McGill was the last university in Canada offering a degree in architecture to allow female students to enroll in the program.
