Les stratégies 'seconde main' en architecture : Le cas du domaine Oaklands à Westmount
|
Abstract |
"Oaklands", a château-style home on Chemin Belvedere in the Montreal suburb of Westmount, was designed by Montreal architect Robert Findlay in 1906. The building was acquired by Samuel and Saidye Bronfman in 1928, and was bought by Stephen Bronfman in 1995. The author describes the renovations undertaken by the firm Architem-Wolff Shapiro Kuskowski to give the building a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) designation.
