Title
The History of the Tiffany Windows at the Erskine and American Church, Montreal
Abstract
An examination of the history of the twenty stained glass windows in the Erskine and American Church, attributed to the Tiffany Studios of New York, from their original installation in Montreal’s American Presbyterian Church from 1897 to 1932, until their placement in the Erskine and American Church in 1938. The author explores the windows, which served as memorials to some of the prominent members of the congregation, as part of the history of the American Presbyterian Church.
