Title
Rapports de genre, de classe et d’ethnicité : l’histoire des infirmières au Québec
Abstract
A historiographical analysis of the competition between religious and ethnic communities in Quebec to reform and control access to the nursing profession. The author points out that even though the French Catholic model of nursing in the province underwent major changes and modernization, it did not compare to the anglo-Protestant model of modernization and secularization.
