Title
Participation au marché du travail, revenus et langues au Québec : le cas des femmes
Abstract
The author studies the earnings of married women by language group in Quebec in 1980. In order to account for the particular aspects of the female labour market, the specification of the model he used includes variables related to marriage, children and selection bias due to labour force participation. Among the results of the analysis, he found that language attributes do not have an important impact on earnings, and that Allophone women are different from the others with respect to some of the factors that determine earnings.
