The Gaspé Sound: Fiddle Music from Two Anglo-Gaspesian Villages
Abstract
The author gives a brief introduction to the Anglo-Gaspesian community of Douglas Township through a social history of the "Gaspé Sound" and a local musical culture little-known outside of this community and its diaspora.
