Abstract
An examination of the social and academic climates at two public and two private (Jewish Day) schools in Montreal. The author questioned 94 sixth and eleventh grade students at the selected schools. She found that the elementary school pupils were more academically oriented than the high school students, and the private elementary school pupils were more interested in their academic climate than the others.
