Abstract
Compares the attitudes of Francophones, Anglophones and Allophones in Quebec and in the rest of Canada in the 1990s to reveal the extent of the linguistic division in the country. The author found that mutual feelings between Francophones and Anglophones were neither very warm nor very cold.
