Abstract
In February 1969, Caribbean and other students at Sir George Williams University (now Concordia University) destroyed the school's computer center during a riot to protest assertions of racial discrimination against Black students in the grading system by a white university professor. The author examines the issues and positions of the protesters and the university's administration that led to the riot.
