Title
Vers une relecture de l’héritage littéraire yiddish montréalais
Abstract
A large influx of Yiddish-speaking Eastern Europeans in the first decades of the twentieth century changed the Jewish landscape of Montreal. The author points out that the literary works of Israël Medresh, Hirsch Wolofsky and Simon Belkin provide insight into this changed world.
