Title
Un certain sens du ridicule. Essais
Abstract
A translation of fifteen essays by Montreal author Mordecai Richler (1931-2001). The chosen essays describe Richler's views of English-speaking Montreal before the Quiet Revolution, about his father and his family, about his religious education and growing up on St. Urbain Street, about his writing career in Paris and London, Montreal and the Eastern Townships. The book is also to show that Richler is a "Quebec writer" according to Québécois criteria.
