Abstract
The life of Irish-born Felix O'Hara (1732-1805), an engineer in the British Army who settled on the Gaspé Peninsula in 1765 after his discharge. The Historical Society of Gaspé has been trying to protect O'Hara's grave, in recognition of his career as a merchant, carpenter, customs agent and Chief Magistrate of the area.
