Abstract
The author outlines the ten-years (1992-2002) of data-gathering for Dialect Topography of Canada databases on English language variants in regions across Canada. Among the regions where linguistic data was gathered were the Eastern Townships, Montreal, Quebec City and the Ottawa Valley. The databases are accessible at http://dialect.topography.chass.utoronto.ca/dt_about.php
