Abstract
A history of the Church of England in the Old Province of Quebec, and of the relationship between the Anglican Church and the State during Jacob Mountain's term as Bishop. Mountain (1749-1825) was the first Anglican bishop of the newly created see of Quebec from 1793 until 1825.
