Abstract
A description of an elaborate cup given by the City of Quebec to Captain Robert-Henry Russell in 1877 on his retirement after forty-years of employment. Russell was both the Chief of Police for Quebec City and responsible for the River Police, part of Trinity House. The cup was manufactured by Elkington & Co. of Birmingham, England. The cup is now in the possession of Quebec City's Musées de la civilisation.
