Title
Westmount Station: Canadian Pacific History and Future Visioning
Abstract
The author presents a history of the Canadian Pacific Railway station, located in the Montreal suburb of Westmount, built in 1907 and abandoned in 1984. The City of Westmount secured ownership of the building in 1998 but, as the author notes, the municipal government "is still no closer to repurposing this iconic building." The author suggests two proposals for repurposing this building.
