Abstract |
In May of 1927 and 1928, and October 1930, the Canadian Pacific Railway sponsored three Folk Song and Handicraft Festivals in Quebec City. The author argues that these festivals presented the folk music, handicrafts and dance of French Canada to an audience of affluent Anglophones.
