Abstract
A history of Quebec's Bar association, including the Brothers-in-Law Club. The Brothers-in-Law Club was formed in 1827 by a group of Montreal lawyers including John Samuel McCord, Alexander Buchanan and William Badgley. The club's members met regularly to wine and dine until the club was disbanded in 1833.
