Abstract
The Montreal Group, also referred to as the McGill Group, was a circle of poets and writers in the 1920s who attended Montreal's McGill University. They are credited by many as introducing Modernist literature to Canada. The group included Leon Edel, John Glassco, A.M. Klein, Leo Kennedy, F.R. Scott, and A.J.M. Smith.
