Abstract
Among the family names of Quebec politicians of Irish ancestry mentioned by the author are McCord, Cannon, Drummond, Flynn, Johnson, Power, Doherty, Fitzpatrick, Guerin, Ryan, Curran, Hackett, Kennedy, Devlin, and Alleyn. The author outlines brief biographical sketches of three politicians of Irish ancestry: John Samuel McCord (1801-1866), Lewis Thomas Drummond (1813-1882), and Daniel Johnson (1915-1968). McCord and Drummond were born in Ireland and Johnson's grandparents were Irish.
