Abstract
Drawings of artist Louis Muhlstock, with essays by the authors. The Austrian-born Muhlstock (1904–2001) was a painter best known for his depictions of the Depression of the 1930s. He emigrated to Montreal in 1911. From 1928 to 1931 he studied art in Paris and returned to Montreal to become a full-time painter.
