The British-born Henry Mousley (1865-1949) immigrated to the Eastern Townships in 1910. In the course of the next four decades, while living first near Hatley Village and later in Montreal, Mousley gained a reputation as the best all-around naturalist-ornithologist of twentieth century Canada.
