| Abstract |
A biography of the American-born Asa Meech (1775-1849), a Congregational minister who emigrated to the Township of Hull in 1821 and lived there until his death at the age of 74. A farmer after he moved to West Quebec, he also conducted religious services and ministered to the people of Hull, Chelsea and Aylmer. He married three times and fathered 21 children.
