Some Sociological Determinants of Student Participation in Campus Activities
|
Abstract |
The author examines the relationship between various group memberships of McGill University sociology students and their participation in certain campus-wide activities. Specifically, the author studies the differences in campus political participation and in donation of blood. An analysis is made of student participation in the referenda to determine whether McGill would join the Union générale des étudiants de Québec (UGEQ), and of student participation in the university's autumn Blood Drive.
