Abstract |
The British-born Samuel Simpson Wood (1795-1868) was the Anglican rector of St James' Church at Trois-Rivières from 1829 to 1856, and at Upper Durham in the Drummondville area from 1856 to 1868. From 1857 to 1863 he was also rural dean for much of the southeastern region of Canada East (Quebec).
