Abstract |
Dr. John Hayes (1866-1932), who practiced medicine in Richmond, Quebec, also served as mayor of that community on five occasions between 1902 and 1923, and was president of the local St. Patrick's Society, the Richmond Catholic School Commission and the Eastern Townships Historical Society. The author describes the historic papers and records that Hayes collected during his life, and the articles he wrote on the history of Richmond County.
