In 1844, the "Trustees of the Presbyterian Church in Three Rivers" was formed and two years later St. Andrew's Church in Trois-Rivières opened its doors on rue Hart, at the corner of rue Alexander. In 1925, the congregation voted to join the United Church of Canada. The building was demolished in 1967. The congregation moved to a new building of worship on rue Nérée-Beauchemin.
