Abstract |
On the occasion of his 80th birthday, Leonard Cohen (1934-2016), a Montreal singer-songwriter, poet, and novelist, lifts the veil on an incredible artistic journey: the fight he led against drugs, his arrival in New York at the legendary Chelsea Hotel, his life on the island of Hydra, in Greece, his discovery of Buddhism and meditation, his return to the stage in 2001 after a bankruptcy. During his career, he released fifteen albums, the last posthumously titled "Thanks for the Dance," released in November 2019.
