Abstract |
The Baie-Comeau born Brian Mulroney (1939-2024) was the eighteenth Prime Minister of Canada, serving from 1984 to 1993. He represented Central Nova (1983-1984), Manigouagan (1984-1988) and Charlevoix (1988-1993) in the House of Commons. Informed by interviews with Mulroney, his aides and his enemies, the authors outline a portrait of the political ascent of one of Canada's most controversial Prime Ministers.
