Abstract |
During the years 1848 and 1849, five steam locomotives, all built in the Scottish Tayside city of Dundee, were brought to Canada to be used on three Montreal-area railways. Two were for the Montreal & Lachine Railroad, two were for the St. Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad, and one was for the Champlain & St. Lawrence Railroad.
