Teacher-School Commission Relationships: A Case Study of a Local School Commission
|
Abstract |
An investigation and analysis of teacher-school commission relationships at The Catholic School Commission of Mount Royal, circa 1969. This small Montreal island school commission operated four schools located in three buildings: one English elementary school, one French elementary school, and one high-school (opened in 1959) for all Catholic high school students - English and French, males and females. The author examines certain school commission decisions affecting teachers directly and pupils indirectly, as well as school reorganization on the island of Montreal.
