L'Anglicisation du Canada
Abstract
Examining the 1971 census data, the authors concluded that the use of the English language (linguistic transfer) was becoming more dominant throughout Canada, especially in Quebec. They contended that the census data showed that the status of the French language in Quebec was in jeopardy, and that the peril of assimilation was stronger than ever.
