The author retraces the life of Paul Bley, considered one of the most complex and mysterious exponents of jazz of the last 50 years. Born in Montreal in 1932, Bley honed his talent in the bands of Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus, Lester Young and Sonny Rollins. Bley died on January 3, 2016.
