Abstract |
A memoir by the former secretary-treasurer of the Montreal-based Seagram Company, the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in the world, owned and run by the Samuel Bronfman (1889-1971) and his family. The author "recalls the patronage, competition, and confusion of a family empire built on whisky." The author was a financial adviser to Samuel Bronfman from 1945 to 1956.
