Abstract
Abraham Moses Klein (1909-1972) immigrated to Montreal with his parents in 1910, when he was one-year old. Best known for his poetry, Klein was also a journalist, novelist, short story writer and lawyer. This book contains his numerous essays and reviews on literature and the arts. Among the subjects discussed by Klein are various genres of Jewish literature, and essays on Canadian, American, British, and European literature. The book includes Klein's acclaimed articles on Irish novelist James Joyce.
