Abstract |
Kenogami, a town in Chicoutimi county, Quebec, was incorporated in 1918, and took its name from Kenogami Lake. Originally part of the town of Jonquière, Kenogami was detached in 1912, following the establishment of a large pulp and paper mill in the town by the Price Brothers Company.
