Abstract |
St. Paul's United Church, initially of Methodist denomination, was organized in Magog in 1884. In 1886, the Magog Methodist congregation decided to build its own church. When the United Church of Canada was founded in 1925, amalgamating Methodist, Congregational and most Presbyterian churches, the Magog Methodist congregation joined the Union.
