Abstract
Discusses the career of Joseph Kage (1915-1996), an immigrant from Russia who moved to Montreal where his work as an interpreter placed him in a position to advocate for Jewish interests in French Canada. He was also the author of several books, including With Faith and Thanksgiving : The Story of Two Hundred Years of Jewish Immigration and Immigrant Aid Effort in Canada, 1760-1960 (1962).
