Abstract
The life of the Irish-born Felix O’Hara (1732-1805), an engineer in the British army who settled on the Gaspé Peninsula in 1765. The Historical Society of Gaspé has been trying to protect his grave, in recognition of O’Hara’s career as a merchant, carpenter, customs agent and chief magistrate in the area.
